Creative director, designer and founder Cindy Xin launched Zareen in 2012. From a young age, Cindy has illustrated a talent for fashion and design.She spent her childhood creating hand-made garments for her dolls, many of which were inspired by comic book fashion and couture.

After graduating in fine art, Cindy decided to pursue her passion and went on to attend LaSalle College, studying Fashion Design.Her creative flair and vibrant personality lead her to win the Top Student of the Year Award in 1999.

She then graduated with a scholarship for her outstanding performance and won a Silver Award in a national fashion design competition.

​

Over the past decade, Cindy has applied her talents in the fashion industry.She has worked with premium fashion brands including Sakura, Aussino and Levant in both North America and Asia, which has further developed her skills in production management and marketing development.

In 2012, Cindy fulfilled her life-long dream of launching her own fashion line, and continues to inject her personality and passion into Zareen’s unique collection.
